Develops employee engagement and spiritual growth through building intentional relations with employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(following are accountabilities included but not limited to):
- Leads and engages employees in spiritual growth opportunities such as Bible studies, Refuel and Refocus, prayer meetings, etc.
- Works with Beyond Business team to come alongside team leaders to equip them to care well for their employees.
- Works with employees to encourage personal growth, including spiritual growth where requested.
- Assists in the development of plans and strategies to increase participation and engage our whole employee community.
- Identifies ways to increase engagement and build a best place to work.
- Plans, coordinates, and facilitates employee engagement events.
- Grows and enhances current engagement initiatives and assists with implementation of new engagement program initiatives.
- Coordinates and promotes employee volunteerism and community engagement in line with the company’s vision, mission, and values. Works with managers on requests for volunteer opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

- Positive attitude and servant posture – able and willing to serve others and put their needs in front of their own.
- Ability to handle confrontation well – doesn’t shy away from tough conversations, displays emotional intelligence, remains approachable.

- Available and flexible – a generous spirit that understands connection moments with people aren’t always conveniently scheduled (i.e. urgent employee care needs, scheduling team events).
- Strong communication skills, including strong writing skills.
- Self-motivated go-getter – proactive, good time management, able to prioritize.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather data, analyze information, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask – flexibility to manage and work on various projects and project teams at one time.
- Ability to prioritize and demonstrate a high level of accuracy with an attention to detail.
- One to three years of employee engagement, or training and development.
- Thorough awareness of Biblical Christian teaching and ability to communicate those truths so any audience can understand.
- Mature understanding of Christian worldview and the ability to articulate these principles to others.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Based in office but required to travel frequently to other locations. At some facilities, must be able to work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and other particles.
- Lunch meetings and events outside of normal working hours are required.
- After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for events, trips, or to meet deadlines.
