This is an opportunity to join the mechanical maintenance team at the Smithville Rail Fleet Maintenance Facility. Responsibilities include the upkeep, inspection and repair on all railcars owned by LCRA. - Contain expertise of an energy services environment
- Weld and use power tools
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- Repair of rotary gondola coal cars
- Two or more years of experience in maintenance and/or repair of mechanical equipment or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in mechanical or industrial maintenance, instrumentation, controls or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Experience in an energy services environment.
- Experience in repair of rotary gondola coal cars
- Experience in welding and using power tools
