At AES we are looking for a highly motivated student or recent graduate to join our company as a Fall Intern

As part of this internship, you would work directly with a host team and will get the opportunity to learn the day-to-day ins and outs of the energy industry, while focusing on specific projects.

We’re currently hiring for two types of internship opportunities, both starting on September 1st and running through the fall. These are paid roles , designed to give you hands-on experience while making real impact.

Option 1: Hybrid Internships (5 roles)

4 hours/day – 5 days a week

Hybrid schedule (2 days in the office, 3 remote) Locations: Louisville, CO and Salt Lake City, UT

Profiles we're looking for:

- 1–2 Engineers (Innovation, Renewables, Preconstruction, EPC, Generalist)

- 1 FP&A / Finance

- 1 Supply Chain

- 1 Policy / External Affairs / Political Science

Option 2: Full-Time On-Site Internships (5 roles)

8 hours/day – 5 days a week (Fridays are flexible)

In-person – based in Indianapolis, IN or Dayton, OH

Profiles we're looking for:

- 1 Policy / External Affairs / Political Science

- 2 Data Analysis / Digital

- 1 Finance / Accounting
