The successful candidate will possess a Grade 12 academic diploma at a minimum. Preference will be given to electrical technicians or electrical technologists or applicants with an applicable post-secondary degree or diploma related to the electrical field from a recognized post-secondary institution or an applicable trade qualification from an accredited Indentured/Apprenticeship Program. The ideal candidate will have a fully developed technical knowledge with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electric utility field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Experience in electric utility control room operations is considered an asset.
The salary rate for this position is $100,000 - $112,000 (probationary rate/full rate) as per the current collective agreement between Maritime Electric and Local No. 1928 – Unit 10 IBEW.
