At LCRA, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Hydro Control Room Operator to join our team! This is a pivotal role that remotely operates hydroelectric generators while retaining control of the level of the six Highland Lakes. You will be tasked with communicating and coordinating work activities with LCRA's Generation Desk and the River Operations Center (ROC) to meet generation demand load requirements. You will coordinate and document flood operations with the ROC and plant staff and monitor and operate the Hydro Security System. Our group works together to plan daily work and hydro operations activities, and we identify and resolve problems throughout our assigned work areas of responsibility ensuring it is in excellent operating condition.
