Golden Vertex Corp is a mining company based in Bullhead City, AZ. The Moss Mine Complex is a precious metal, open pit surface mine specializing in gold/silver extraction. Golden Vertex was recently acquired by new ownership (Mako Mining Corp) and is under new management. The Company operates the Moss Mine located in Mohave County in northwestern Arizona, approximately a one hour and a half drive south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Golden Vertex Corp is currently seeking a qualified ELECTRICIAN for our Moss Mine project.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Electrician to join our team at the Moss Mine Complex. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations across mining and processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with company policies, MSHA regulations, and safety standards.

- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems for mine equipment, processing plants, pumps, motors, switchgear, and lighting.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

- Respond to electrical breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

- Work collaboratively with other maintenance and operations teams to support safe, efficient production.

- Ensure compliance with MSHA, NEC, and company-specific safety procedures.

- Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.

- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience in an industrial/mining environment.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an electrician in heavy industry, mining, or similar setting.

- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

- Working knowledge of MSHA regulations, NEC, and NFPA 70E standards.

- Must be able to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment, including exposure to weather, dust, and mine site conditions.

- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces.

- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by operations.
