The Role:
The Electrical Superintendent plays a vital role in overseeing all electrical site construction and quality control of our solar generation projects. This position is a key leader supporting multiple projects and provides direct leadership to Foremen and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and with the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
•Participate in the planning, scheduling, and review of project plans and drawings to ensure safe and reliable construction.
•Ensure site prep work is executed per contracts, design, and specifications
•Collaborate with Project Managers and mechanical leads to order materials and schedule inspections.
•Maintain and manage electrical construction schedules, adjust workflow, and ensure appropriate staffing for construction activities.
•Supervise completion of final electrical punch lists and quality assurance processes.
•Lead and manage the electrical field team, fostering a culture of performance, safety, and development.
•Coach and mentor team members on processes, quality checks, and site standards.
•Manage the electrical quality control and assurance program, including subcontractor compliance and material management.
•Ensure timely delivery of electrical documentation and completion of permitting activities.
•Build and maintain strong client and team relationships to support project success.
Requirements:
•Minimum of five (5) years of construction leadership experience in solar generation and electrical projects.
•Journeyman or higher electrical license required.
•Experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore).
•NABCEP training (preferred).
•OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

Schedule:
Full-Time | Travel Required | Field-Based Role at Active Solar Construction Sites
This position requires frequent overnight travel to project sites, with work assignments typically lasting a week or longer based on project need. The work involves outdoor site supervision in varying weather conditions.
