Join BBA and put your experience to work by actively contributing to the various stages of our projects as a Control and Protection Design Engineer for electrical substations. You will be involved in designing control and protection systems for high‑voltage substations and hydroelectric power plants across Canada. You will also be responsible for supporting site mandates to ensure work quality and system compliance before energization. In addition, you will play a key role in project management, client coordination and the delivery of high‑quality projects with the BBA team.

- Take on various roles, including that of Project Lead
- Design protection panels (AC diagrams, control diagrams, wiring diagrams, etc.)
- Prepare installation specifications and material, cable and interconnection lists
- Participate in site surveys
- Coordinate mandates with leads from other disciplines
- Take part in commissioning activities related to automation

- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Experience as a Control and Protection Design Engineer for electrical substations
- Experience with Hydro‑Québec control and protection projects
- Knowledge of the E3 design software
- Knowledge of testing equipment and on-site monitoring
- Availability for short- and long-term assignments at client sites
- Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written, with the ability to produce technical documents in both languages
- Asset: Certificate from the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (IGEE)
