About This Job

PTW is seeking a local electrical journeyperson to join our team as an EV Technician in the Ottawa area. This role includes training and a company vehicle to service EV chargers in Ottawa and surrounding areas, with work extending beyond EV services.

Job Details:

•

Shift:Monday to Friday

•

Working Hours:8-10 hour days

•

Overtime:Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis

•

Travel Pay: Travel time hours will be paid forastravelwill be requiredup to 4 hours away from Ottawa

Requirements:

•

Must possess 5 years commercial / light industrial experience

•

Must be a certified electrical Journeyperson.

•

Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.

•

Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).

•

Experience servicing EV Chargers is considered an asset.

•

Excellent communication skills.

•

A demonstrated ability to work safely.

•

Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)

•

A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.

•

Must be authorized to work in Canada.

•

Must be local to the area or within commuting distance
