Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical tasks.

•

Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.

•

Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to meet updated codes or client specifications.

•

Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work with other trades such as carpentry and plumbing.

•

Adhere to all safety protocols while working in high voltage environments.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

•

Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification.

•

Proven experience in the electrical field with a strong understanding of electrical theory and practices.

•

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to electrical installations.

•

Familiarity with high voltage systems and safe handling practices.

•

Experience with frame carpentry is a plus for integrated projects involving multiple trades.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

•

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on construction sites.

•

Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
