We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our small business. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

•

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

•

Utilize power tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ammeters to troubleshoot issues.

•

Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure efficient project completion.

•

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.

•

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while performing tasks on-site.

•

Provide guidance and training to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a commercial/residential electrician or similar role in the construction industry.

•

Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.

•

Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documents (recommended).

•

Familiarity with power tools and testing equipment; experience with voltmeters and ammeters is a plus.

•

Knowledge of frame carpentry is advantageous for integrated projects.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by state regulations (recommended).
