Electrical Engineering Intern

ACCIONA Energía is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the development and construction of renewable energy projects. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on electrical design, specifications, and contractor management for large-scale renewable energy facilities.

Job Description What You’ll Do:

- Support electrical engineering contractors with renewable facility design, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and RFIs.

- Assist project managers with preliminary design of low voltage systems, collection systems, and substations.

- Contribute to the development and updates of electrical specifications and standards for contractors.

- Assist with preparing bid packages and evaluating contractor and supplier proposals.

- Review electrical equipment and material proposals and prepare bid tab evaluations.

- Take on additional engineering support tasks as assigned.

Required Skills And Competencies

- Currently enrolled in a B.S. program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Effective team player who can also work independently.

- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers.

- Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy.

- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel if required.
