Electrical Apprentice

Job Description:

We are a growing residential and light commercial service company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services throughout Indiana. We are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and build a long-term career in the skilled trades.

Position Summary

The Electrical Apprentice will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to assist with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and advance within a professional company.

Responsibilities

- Assist electricians with installation of wiring, outlets, fixtures, panels, and electrical equipment

- Pull wire, bend conduit, and help with rough-in and finish work

- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision

- Maintain tools, equipment, and clean job sites

- Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards

- Communicate professionally with customers and team members

- Complete required apprenticeship training and coursework

- Accurately document work performed and materials used

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required

- Previous construction or trade experience is a plus, but not required

- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics/crawl spaces

- Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic

- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if applicable)
