Job Title: EHS&S Coordinator (Environmental, Health, Safety & Security)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented EHS&S Coordinator to help lead key compliance and safety initiatives while supporting DOT, maintenance, and regulatory programs across our operations. This is a hybrid role combining safety leadership, environmental reporting, DOT/CHP compliance, and fleet maintenance administration. The ideal candidate is hands-on, tech-savvy, organized, and passionate about driving a culture of safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental & Regulatory Compliance
•Maintain and update SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) plans.
•Oversee CERS reporting for hazardous materials and fire codes.
•Manage stormwater compliance and environmental documentation.
•Participate in drills and exercises with USCG and Fish & Wildlife as needed.
Safety & Training
•Conduct safety meetings with drivers and on-site personnel.
•Develop and manage safety training calendars and initiatives.
•Lead safety investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
•Monitor Samsara (or similar) fleet telematics for unsafe driving trends and follow up with coaching.
•Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
DOT & CHP Compliance
•Monitor driver logs and Hours of Service (HOS) for DOT/CHP compliance.
•Maintain up-to-date records related to Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
•Support auditing and tracking of safety-related incidents and documents.
Fleet Maintenance Support
•Assist with maintenance file tracking, reporting, and compliance follow-up.
•Utilize systems such as Dossier, Fleetio, or similar for fleet maintenance administration.
•Coordinate closely with operations and maintenance teams for timely repairs and documentation.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 2–3 years of experience in safety, compliance, DOT, or fleet maintenance support roles.
•Working knowledge of HAZMAT, OSHA, DOT, and CHP regulatory frameworks.
•Familiarity with SPCC, stormwater, and CERS reporting processes.
•Proficient in Samsara or other fleet telematics platforms.
•Strong organizational and communication skills.
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience conducting root cause analyses and leading corrective action plans.
•Knowledge of Dossier, Fleetio, or other fleet maintenance software systems.
•Exposure to terminal or fuel/lube industry is a strong plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
