The E&I Maintenance Project Coordinator (E-MPC) will assist in the coordination, planning, and implementation of capital/electrical projects and turnaround activities. As the site E-MPC you will scope work/projects, conduct bidding activities, and manage work execution. You will assist in supervising hourly electrical employees as well as contractors to ensure job safety. Additionally, you will partner with capital projects to enter bill of materials as well as commissioning projects. You will thrive in the role if you have a safety-first mindset.
- Provide support in implementing capital projects which may include preparing Capital Requests (CR’s), working with Purchasing to select contractors, managing contracts, manage capital project funds and coordination of field activities supporting work execution.
- Oversee cost management and coordinate other plant activities.
- Assist with managing significant reactive work by identifying and requisitioning materials or services, or supervising Mosaic Maintenance Mechanics and/or Technicians.
- Assist with managing area turnarounds.
- Lead the turnaround team.
- Identify the Turnaround (TA) Scope, coordinate activities, manage budgets, and track progress during execution.
- Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance and electrical work.
- Bid work as required by Purchasing, requisition services, manage contracts, manage expense funds, and coordinate field activities supporting work execution.
- Track overall maintenance and electrical budget for projects.
- Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities.
- Review and authorize work permits and conduct audits and inspections.
- High school/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable
- 1+ year of Computerized Maintenance System (EMPAC or Maximo) experience- Demonstrated proficiency wit SAP or similar ERP system
- Industrial Electrical experience
