What You’ll Do:
As a Drywall Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in bidding, planning, and managing projects from start to finish—helping us meet goals and exceed expectations on every job site. Your work will directly impact our success, and as an employee-owner, that’s your bottom line too.
Your day-to-day will include:
•Building strong relationships with clients and representing IDI with professionalism and integrity.
•Preparing detailed, competitive estimates with clarity on scope, labor, material, and project needs.
•Coordinating with superintendents to ensure material availability and efficient scheduling.
•Reading blueprints and performing take-offs for drywall, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceilings.
•Identifying and pricing change orders quickly and accurately.
•Collaborating with project accountants on billing, collections, and cost tracking.
•Visiting job sites to monitor progress and improve future estimates.
•Staying on top of trends, safety codes, and industry best practices.What You Bring to the Table:
•A bachelor’s degree (Construction or Business preferred).
•2+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in drywall or acoustical systems.
•Experience reading blueprints and a strong understanding of construction practices.
•Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
Bonus Points For:
•Project Management Certification
•5+ years of sales or estimating experience
•Familiarity with safety procedures and building codes
•Strong negotiation and procurement skillsWhat We Offer:
