•Revenue and Profit Growth
•Profitable extra work opportunities are consistently identified and pursued. The Project Manager effectively drives project growth through securing high margin change orders, reducing waste and capitalizing on strong client relationships.
•The Project Manager also strives to grow the scope and revenue of the project soliciting other trades working on site.
•Cost saving strategies are explored and implemented.
•Participates and contributes to field pre-planning activities to ensure work is being performed safely and is profitable.
•Accurate project cost forecasting is completed on a weekly/monthly basis and is based on project performance and remaining work left to complete.
•The Project Manager proactively identifies areas where costs can be reduced or managed more effectively to stay within budget.
•Client & Stakeholder Satisfaction
•Client feedback is positive and reflects a high level of communication and meeting expectations. The Project Manager builds trust with clients through swift and resourceful handling of issues and demonstrates a high level of competence. A full understanding of the client’s priorities are understood resulting in a strong partnership and repeat business.
•The Project Manager effectively mentors and develops Project Engineers by setting clear goals, defining responsibilities and measuring performance. Strong project team morale and collaboration is maintained resulting in increased productivity.
•Contract Change Management
•The Project Manager limits risk through proactive change order management. Pricing requests from clients are evaluated, prepared and responded to in a timely manner and change orders or written approvals are received prior to proceeding with work.
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing construction project(s) according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, subcontractors, truckers, and vendors to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control through completion, delivering superior value to our client(s).
•Assist in the development of project scopes, objectives, and plans.
•Monitor project expenditures and assist in budget management.
•Coordinate timelines and ensure milestones are met.
•Work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment.
•Ensure that all work meets the company's quality standards and project specifications.
•Maintain comprehensive project records, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
•Address and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
Qualifications
•Experience: Typically, 5-7 years in construction project management.
•Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
•Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, and time management. Familiarity with construction management software including HCSS, PlanGrid, Vista, Microsoft Office, AGTEK, BlueBeam, Trello.
