Drafting Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and detail-oriented Drafting Manager to lead our drafting team. Cives Steel is the largest employee-owned structural steel fabricator in the United States, and we are looking to bring on a team leader at our New England Division located in Augusta, Maine. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CAD technologies and a thorough understanding of construction and mechanical design processes. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in various drafting software.

- Must have excellent organizational skills

- Be able to manage a small group of people

- Coordinate with other departments to keep project schedules

- Ideal candidate would have construction office experience; some knowledge of AutoCAD, SDS2 & Tekla would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Education:

- High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

- Drafting: 5 years (Preferred)
