CAD Draftsman

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing various CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and schematics. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.

Duties

- Develop detailed drawings and plans using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.

- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.

- Create 2D and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.

- Prepare schematics for mechanical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.

- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.

- Assist in the preparation of construction documents and presentations.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks.

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.

- Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

- Familiarity with 2D animation is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.71 per hour
