CAD Drafter

Overview

This position is an on-site position located at our office in Derwent, Ohio. The CAD Drafter I will assist in the preparation of design documents and drawings during the execution of a

variety of projects involving mechanical, electrical and civil/structual components for natural gas, hydrocarbon and industrial projects.

Primary responsibilities include producing two-dimensional and three-dimensional construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, schematics and bills of material, from models, red lines and sketches under the direction of an engineer or designer.

- Complete redline drawings accurately and timely

- Follow company or customer CAD standards

- Scanning, copying and plotting drawings

- Preparing as-built drawings based on field red-line markups

- Drafting moderate P&IDs, PFDs, Isometrics, schematics, one-line diagrams, etc.

- Drafting moderate orthographics, annotate drawings, details, section cuts, etc.

- Drafting standard drawings, coversheets, notes and legend, etc.

- Assuring that work is completed accurately and within project deadlines

- Completes peer reviews of drawings

Qualifications

- Requires an Associate degree or higher in Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology or related field

- Good understanding of AutoCAD, Acrobat or Bluebeam, Word and Excel

- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team with direct oversight from a senior team member.

- Preferred experience: 0-1 year
