Drafting Engineer

About the Position:

Hasty Bake and HBI Services is a thriving and rapidly expanding manufacturing company. Our company is a family-owned company. HBI Services is currently seeking qualified candidates interested in becoming our next Drafting Engineer.

The Drafting Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for engineering and manufacturing projects using Bysoft and Solidworks software. You will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure technical accuracy and design feasibility.

Responsibilities:

· Generating flat patterns for laser cutting and bending.

· Develop accurate press brake programming using Bysoft.

· Input bend sequences, tooling setups, and material data to ensure proper execution.

· Work closely with engineers, designers, and press brake operators to review designs and optimize for manufacturability.

· Create 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

· Translate engineering sketches and specifications into detailed drawings.

· Revise existing drawings and designs based on engineering changes or client feedback.

· Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), part lists, and documentation for manufacturing.

· Assist in estimating material usage and production time based on drawings.
