The Drafter will be responsible for preparing accurate drawings and documentation to support electrical and instrumentation projects. This role involves creating and revising drawings under the direction of the Engineering / Design Manager.
- Prepare and revise electrical and instrumentation drawings, including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, schematics, skidded systems, and cable schedules.
- Draft and update P&IDs) and other technical drawings as required.
- Convert markups and redlines from engineers and designers into finalized drawings.
- Maintain drawing files, document control, and ensure compliance with company CAD standards.
- Assist with compiling drawing packages for submittals, fabrication, and field installation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years' experience using AutoCAD (required); knowledge of other CAD software a plus.- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation symbols, drawings, and drafting standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow directions accurately.
- Good organizational skills for managing multiple drawings and revisions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in technical drafting and interpreting redlines.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers and designers.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Required to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, email, and through software systems to exchange information with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work in an office environment with occasional visits to the shop, which may include exposure to noise, dust, or varying temperatures.
