The Downstream Account Manager will be responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing Odessa Pumps (a DNOW Company) overall footprint within the Downstream/Industrial Sector, and will act as the representative of DNOW for specific customers, maintaining and enhancing the business relationships with those companies.

- Primary focus will be driving sales through focused strategies within the Downstream/Industrial Sector.

- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within current and prospective customers.

- Develop Accounts to strategically grow revenue within the assigned Downstream/Industrial Market.

- Meets or exceed sales goals by retaining current customers and taking market share from the competition.

- Responsible for business development, identifying market trends, and gaining competitive knowledge.

- Develop and execute a strategy to close new opportunities within the Downstream/Industrial Market.

- Possesses strong communications skills when projects and customers cross territories.

- Performs other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with extensive contacts of end users in the Downstream/Industrial Market.

- Relevant business knowledge of Downstream/Industrial Market products and service offerings.

- MS Office skills (Excel and Word).

- Oral and written communication skills, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills.

- Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams.

- Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.

- Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.

- Strong work ethic and integrity, positive and assertive attitude.

- Maintain and enhance good working relationships with customers.

- Detail-oriented, organized and analytical, goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure.
