Description:
This position will ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations with the focus on the Company's Fleet and Drivers. This position must be willing and able to travel to the different company locations.
Requirements:
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensuring that drivers and vehicles meet DOT and FMCSA regulations, including driver qualification files, ELD compliance, and vehicle inspections.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to driver information, vehicle maintenance, and safety incidents.
Training and Education:
Educating drivers on DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and the use of ELD’s.
Specific Tasks:
•Auditing and maintaining DOT driver qualification files.
•Review driver logs for completeness and accuracy, comparing logs to other supporting documentation, including but not limited to fuel receipts, weight tickets, inspections, and accident reports.
•Provides initial training and technical support for drivers on ELD issues
•Educating drivers on electronic logging device (ELD) usage.
•Managing roadside inspections and citations.
•Reviewing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
Skills and Qualifications:
•Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.

•Proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
