Maintains and oversees documentation within the organization, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and manage all controlled documents, including electronic and hard copies, ensuring they are accurate, complete and compliant with company and customer standards.
- Upload part pictures into file and verify connectivity for inclusion onto production documents (move label, pick ticket, etc.).
- Release Quality related documents (part specific control plan, gage instructions, quality alerts, etc.) into files for inclusion into production document’ print-on-demand function.
- Coordinate changes, approval, release of control documents per current automotive and environmental requirement standards.
- Maintain Master prints (drawings) and related files (paper and electronic) including log (with hyperlinks) and distribution log.
- Coordinate document control processes including document creation, revision, approval and distribution.
- Prepare audit schedules and assists Quality Manager/Audit Administrator with audit program execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of documents to confirm they are current and accurate. Assists with internal and external audits by providing necessary documents.
- Support and uphold all aspects of the Quality Operating System as appropriate to ensure the quality system is maintained to current customer standards.
- Support department manager to determine areas for administrative continuous improvement and costs reduction (supplies, process and purchased services).
- Work closely with other departments to facilitate the document control process and ensure all stakeholders have access to necessary documentation.
- Maintain SDS (Safety Data Sheet) master copies, employee SDS reference books, and electronic files.
- Educate employees on document control procedures, including documentation, retention, retrieval and destruction policies.
- Has the authority to place any product on “HOLD” that is poor quality suspected.

- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work experience in automotive manufacturing a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers or employees in the organization.
- Bilingual (Plus, not a requirement)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and document management software.
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems is a plus.
Ability to perform general mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
