We are seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for a professional with at least 10+ years of experience in document control and a strong background working with SharePoint and Bluebeam. You will play a crucial role in managing, organizing, and maintaining critical project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities May Include:
Manage document control processes for multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely distribution of documentation
Set up and maintain document control systems, registers, logs, and tracking tools
Develop and enforce document control procedures in compliance with industry standards and project requirements
Administer and maintain document management systems, including SharePoint and Bluebeam
Coordinate document reviews, revisions, approvals, and distributions among internal teams and external stakeholders
Train team members and project personnel on document control processes and software usage
Conduct regular audits to ensure document control practices are adhered to and data integrity is maintained
Generate reports on document status, outstanding actions, and project progress as needed
Support archiving and close-out processes for completed projects
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Associates degree
10 or more years of experience in Document Control within the oil & gas industry
Proficiency with SharePoint for document management, permissions, and workflows
Expertise in Bluebeam for reviewing, markups, and collaborating on technical drawings and documents
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, Documentum, etc.)
Familiarity with large-scale capital projects or engineering/construction documentation workflows
Strong understanding of document control principles, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Experience training or mentoring others in document control processes is a plus
