Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our document management systems, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant with quality standards. This position requires proficiency in various data management tools and a strong commitment to quality management practices.
Duties
•Create Document Transmittal List with assistance of PM, Sales and Engineering at beginning of project
•Coordinate documents to be issued for final data book with QC, Fabrication, Receiving, and Engineering.
•Assemble final Data Book and IOM’s per Gaumer Standard or Customer Specification
•Maintain Document Transmittal List throughout the project.
•Maintain records of document revisions and updates for compliance purposes.
•Support quality management initiatives by ensuring all documents meet regulatory requirements.
Skills
•Excellent proofreading skills to identify errors and improve document quality.
•Experience with data management practices and tools.
•Familiarity with various document management systems to streamline processes.
•Strong organizational skills to manage multiple documents effectively.
•Ability to perform accurate data entry with attention to detail.
•Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
•Minimum 1 year fabrication Document Controls
•Excellent computer skills working with ERP systems
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
