Job Summary

Duties

- Develop and implement transportation strategies for expedited freight, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency.

- Coordinate with customers, distribution, procurement, and employees to streamline order fulfillment and shipping & receiving processes of tools and equipment.

- Oversee fleet management and dispatching activities, including scheduling drivers and tracking.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards such as forklift operation and material handling protocols.

Skills

- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics optimization.

- Proficiency in transportation planning tools.

- Strong understanding of freight operations, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), shipping & receiving procedures, and order fulfillment processes.

- Experience with demand planning, category management, sourcing, procurement, and materials handling techniques.
