Location: Downtown Midland, TX

Overview

Ace Resources is seeking a highly organized Division Order Analyst to join a privately held oil and gas operator based in downtown Midland.

Supporting the Land and Division Orders team, this role plays a critical part in maintaining ownership records, interpreting title and legal documents, and ensuring accurate revenue distribution. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-office setting, enjoys working collaboratively across departments, and can manage multiple responsibilities with precision.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze leases, deeds, assignments, probate records, and other legal/title documents to confirm ownership

- Maintain and update division order decks; track ownership changes and ensure data integrity

- Enter and reconcile ownership records in OG SQL (preferred); assist in future Quorum system transition

- Partner with Land and Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure record accuracy

- Track ownership and billing changes using Excel and internal tools

- Communicate with mineral owners and internal stakeholders to address inquiries

- Support file maintenance, document scanning, and general administrative needs

- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in division order analysis, land administration, or similar roles

- Working knowledge of mineral title and legal documentation

- Experience with OG SQL preferred; familiarity with Quorum is a plus

- Advanced Excel skills for ownership tracking and reconciliation

- Local to Midland, TX and available for on-site work (Must be on-site, however, the client is open to modified or school-hour schedules for the right candidate)

- College degree or JD preferred but not required

- Membership in NADOA and/or experience with a major operator is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
