The Division Order Analyst I is an entry-level analyst position responsible for performing clerical, data entry, and research duties for the Division Order Department. This role focuses on developing the fundamental knowledge required for the accurate and timely establishment and maintenance of record title ownership for the producing properties of Continental Resources. The Division Order Analyst I will progressively assume greater levels of responsibility through time and experience, with a strong emphasis on professional growth and development.
- Independently analyzes and solves complex ownership inquiries and provides prompt responses to stakeholders.
- Gains a comprehensive understanding of Division Order principles and concepts through the analysis of title opinions, leases, assignments, deeds, probates, farmout agreements, operating agreements, and other legal documents.
- Creates and maintains burdened divisions of interest (DOI) and joint interest billing (JIB) decks reflecting record title ownership of producing properties increasing in complexity as development progresses.
- Initiates ownership transactions within SAP.
- Assists senior-level division order analysts with research and data entry tasks.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Determines ownership according to laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession when appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates a foundational understanding of the responsibilities of a division order analyst.
- Comprehends the various types of record title ownership, as well as the numerous instruments affecting ownership of real property.

- High school diploma or GED.
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and occasional stooping.
- Incidental lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
