The Division Order Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and verifying division orders on Non-Operated properties in multiple U.S. basins to ensure revenue is distributed accurately and operator-expenses billed correctly. This person should bring strong skills in land and division order analysis, a commitment to precision, and enjoy contributing to a collaborative, small team environment.
- Review Non-Operated Division Orders and confirm company’s ownership and collaborate closely with operators to resolve any interest discrepancies.
- Configure well records in the land management system, including entry of well information, well allocations and lease ownership to calculate a well level interest decimal.
- Compute well level Working Interest (WI), Net Revenue Interest (NRI) and Royalty Interest (RI), Non-Participating Royalty Interest (NPRI) and Override Interest (ORRI) for acquired assets.
- Conduct title analysis—including title opinions, ownership reports, assignments, conveyances, stipulations of interest, pooling affidavits, and communitization agreements to establish accurate ownership and acreage records. Proactively identify title discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Work with Brokers and Landmen in review and interpretation of ownership reports, title opinions, curative, leases, assignments and agreements.
- Coordinate with operators to resolve suspended revenue issues, ensuring timely release of funds and accurate payment
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Division Order Analyst, with specific exposure to non operated and mineral/royalty interest division orders; experience working in the Permian
- Strong understanding of how working interest, mineral interest and overrides are calculated.
- Experience working with an integrated land system. with proficiency in LandVantage preferred.
