Distribution Construction Coordinator (Augusta Distribution Area)

Reports To : Distribution Construction Supervisor

This position will be filled at an Exempt level 4 or 5, depending on abilities and experience of the successful candidate.

Locations:

This position will be responsible for the oversight and success of large-scale Distribution Construction projects that encompass Augusta Distribution Areas.

JOB SUMMARY

This position will report to the Distribution Construction Supervisor and will primarily be responsible for contract crews performing DOT, reliability, special and large-scale projects across Augusta Distribution Area. Oversight of new construction, maintenance, trouble calls, and storm response may be required also.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Coordinating contract resources to ensure Distribution Construction Achieves Safety Excellence, budgetary needs, productivity, schedules, customer satisfaction and quality goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling/planning, attending pre-construction meetings, quality control, inventory and closing out assigned projects. To be effective in this position, the incumbent must work well with and communicate with Engineering and other departments, internal and external customers, builders, developers, joint trench partners, electricians, claims, etc. This job may require an alternate work schedule and overnight travel to accomplish the listed responsibilities. The DC Coordinator will work closely with region leadership to support their storm restoration plans.
