Perform logistics functions that may include reviewing, preparing and routing shipments, coordinating drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules or customer requests.

· Responsible for calculating routes and times of deliveries and making the necessary adjustments for sales and customers
· Establish delivery routes which are cost effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines while still maintaining an acceptable level of customer service, quality and satisfaction
· Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
· Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules
· Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews or supervisors
· Using telephones, two-way radios or outlook email to contact employees
· Speaking with supervisor or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
· Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews
· Being in charge of communications within company assigned territories
· Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information.
· Position works primarily in a warehouse environment
· Constant telephone activity; must have a high comfort level of initiating conversation
