Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This position requires a strong understanding of various accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Duties
•Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable standards.
•Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
•Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and financial health.
•Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
•Assist with budgeting processes and provide variance analysis.
•Interpret financial reports for management, highlighting key insights and trends.
•Ensure compliance with securities law and tax regulations.
•Support private equity transactions through detailed financial assessments.
•Engage in governmental accounting practices as required by specific projects or contracts.
Experience
•Proven experience in financial accounting, with a strong grasp of budgeting and cash flow management.
•Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and tax regulations is essential.
•Experience in securities law, private equity, governmental accounting, and bank reconciliation is highly desirable.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
•Proficiency in Quick Books accounting software and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
