We are a rapidly growing contractor in Dallas that needs your talents! The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable regulations. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
•Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports with Quickbooks Online.
•Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
•Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
•Assist in financial auditing processes, providing necessary documentation and support.
•Manage debits and credits effectively to maintain balanced accounts.
•Apply knowledge of securities law to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Utilize QBO software for financial accounting tasks, enhancing efficiency in reporting.
•Collaborate with corporate finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
•Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•Construction background preferable, but not a necessity.
•Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
•FieldPulse or infield management software experience preferable.
•Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and concepts.
•Experience with bank reconciliation processes is preferred.
•Familiarity with securities law is a plus but not mandatory.
•Knowledge of account analysis techniques and financial auditing standards.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
