You will lead global technology teams to ensure the secure, seamless, and innovative delivery of business-focused solutions. As a results-oriented leader, you will drive performance and lead with integrity through complex situations. You will inspire and develop high-performing, diverse teams by fostering psychological safety, motivating others, and leading by example with authenticity and continuous self-improvement.
What You Will Do•Own and deliver the IT / IS budget, driving financial performance and efficiency
•Oversee technology operations, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery to ensure system resilience
•Champion innovation by recommending emerging technologies to enhance competitiveness
•Manage IT projects, deliver high-quality support, and present enhancement opportunities
•Lead the development and communication of a technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals, leveraging data-driven decision-making and close collaboration with key stakeholders
•Balance continuous improvement and change initiatives with organizational capacity, realistic, achievable implementation plans
•Champion a culture of collaboration, recognition, and shared purpose, driving organizational performance and resilience through challenges
•Champion HSE leadership within IT by driving improved performance, engaging with staff concerns, and actively participating in HSE initiatives and emergency response
•Ensure global IT / IS compliance by staying current with key regulations (such as SOX, NIS 2, and GDPR), promoting staff understanding, and actively monitoring adherence
What You Will Bring
•15 years of progressive technology leadership experience in the energy industry
•Proven track record in leading, developing, and coaching direct and cross-functional teams to deliver short and long-term results
•Strong business / entrepreneurial mindset and practical problem-solving approach
•Broad knowledge of financial procedures, organizational strategy development, continuous improvement, and project management practices
•Demonstrated ability to identify and address business needs and requirements, with a focus on continuous improvement
•Ability to create and maintain a culture of high performance, customer orientation, efficiency, teamwork, and employee development
•Strong leadership skills that demonstrate collaboration, partnership, and respectful influencing with others, and the ability to develop the next generation of leaders at Vermilion
