This position will be responsible for managing the EH&S Specialists that are providing area field EH&S auditing, customer EH&S interface, support of EH&S training delivery, regulatory compliance, and incident investigation across operating areas.
Essential Duties
•Observe and mentor company operations personnel in safe work planning and execution of work
•Oversee field EH&S audits and BBS Observations for all company operating areas to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of overall EH&S performance
•Assess company compliance with customer EH&S requirements and review remedial plans created to address deficiencies.
•Attend customer EH&S functions and act as company EH&S representative on a multi-area basis
•Oversee EH&S training for area operations and support personnel in accordance with 29 CFR 1910
•Oversee investigation of incidents and gap closure of any corrective actions
•Manage company safety and environmental policy/procedure development and revisions, as needed
•Consolidate and report out EH&S audits, BBS Observations, and monthly incident data
•Provide safety training to company employees including, but not limited to: Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR and PEC SafeLand
Qualifications
•Minimum of seven years of experience in a hands-on oilfield service operations, oil & gas industry, or operations support role required
•Minimum of five years of experience with EH&S facilitation and leadership in association with the job
•Demonstrated ability to manage personnel and lead a team.
•Must demonstrate strong collaborative skills.
•Must be able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
•Demonstrated understanding of OSHA regulations and how they relate to company operations
•Working knowledge of environmental regulations as they pertain to company operations
•Ability to formulate safety benchmark calculations such as TRIR & DART
•Ability to understand and implement workplace safety requirements as mandated by customers
•Ability to commit to 60% travel time across all company operating areas
•Ability to act as leader and/or mentor to EH&S and operations personnel
•Excellent communication (both written and verbal) including the ability to discuss safety and environmental issues with people from diverse backgrounds and diverse settings
•Excellent time management and organization skills
•Ability to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point for presentations and the development of programs
•Must be able to use your better judgement regarding your safety and that of your co-workers
Education
•High school diploma required
•Some post-secondary education preferred

•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions
•Must be available and able to work at any time and be “on call”
•Must be able to bend, climb, and walk on all types of surfaces
Preferred Certifications
•PEC Core Compliance certification or equivalent for SafeLand / SafeGulf USA
•OSHA 501 Certification for General Industry Safety Standards
•Smith Driving or equivalent “Train the Trainer" Certification
•CSHO Certification (Certified Safety & Health Officer)
