About The Role
The Nuclear Company is a leading innovator in the nuclear energy sector, dedicated to advancing clean and safe energy solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Construction to lead and manage all aspects of the construction of our cutting-edge nuclear projects. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of all construction activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role reports to the VP, Construction.
Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of construction project execution
, including:
Lead and manage a team of construction professionals
, including project managers, superintendents, and engineers.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other departments
to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
, including NRC regulations, construction codes, and environmental regulations.
Develop and implement innovative construction methods and technologies
to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
to address potential challenges and delays.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders
, including clients, regulators, contractors, and internal teams.
Ensure the safe and successful handover of completed projects
to the operations team.
Experience
Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $198,000 - $228,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
