Job Summary: (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
Directs, formulates and monitors the division’s budget. Oversees the compilation of data based on statistical studies and analysis of past and current years to prepare division budget and to justify funds requested. Reviews annual and intermediate division budget periodically to analyze trends affecting division budget needs; develops the strategy, and provides leadership in the design, development, and implementation of standardized business planning, tracking, and reporting. Also, provides analysis of the initiatives in the business plan to the budget and spend plan for reporting to the leadership periodically on overall performance of against budget. Analyze and direct the development of cost trends based upon the analysis of labor productivity, the effect of economic conditions on project materials and labor costs. Directs the overall development, coordination and technical direction budgeting, financial management, and ensures consistency with Calpine policy.

•Regularly uses independent judgment in the evaluation of intangibles or situations with minimal precedent or standards available for reference. Selects methods, techniques, analytical approach and evaluation criteria.
•Works within broad guidelines; applies advanced technical knowledge of multiple facets to solve complex problems which may have long-term impact on the department.
•May manages multiple functions within a department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, process various deliverables.
•May act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or highly complex special assignments and set technical direction for a department
•May have responsibility for performance reviews, promotional decisions, and pay actions or provide key input on such decisions
Job Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, prefer Master’s Degree.
•Previous project management experience.
•Typically requires minimum of 15+ years’ experience in accounting and/or finance, or related.
Salary Information
•Salary Range - $167,708.45 - $213,828.28
