for a long-term contract position to support our utility client in Pomona, CA. Roles and Responsibilities:

•

Oversee accruals (~$1,500) for T&D field crews, ensuring expenses are properly recorded and recognized

•

Verify crew expense data, decide on the appropriate accrual treatment, and guide field supervisors on accrual-related inquiries

•

Maintain utility-grade GAAP compliance while tracking costs accurately across various projects and operational needs

•

Work closely with field supervisors and other departments to resolve any accrual-related questions and ensure accurate financial reporting

•

Prepare cost control reports and assist in providing accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis for ongoing and future projects

•

Successfully manage multiple projects and priorities

•

Perform other job duties as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements:

•

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, or a related field is required

•

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, accruals, and cost control processes

•

Strong background in utility industry financial operations, including working with T&D field crews

•

Ability to manage complex cost tracking, reporting, and analysis, while maintaining compliance with industry standards such as GAAP

•

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis and reporting

•

Strong customer service skills and proactive follow-up (internal and external)

•

Strong communication and writing skills

•

Must be able to apply critical thinking skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills

•

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

•

Must be able to successfully pass client's background screening process

•

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

•

Candidate must be eligible to work in the US

Location:

Pomona, CA (Hybrid/3 Days on-site days)

Work Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT
