Diesel Technician Assistant, Morgantown, WV

Woodford Oil Company proudly markets to customers in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Woodford Oil Company is looking for a full-time Diesel Technician to service and repair a large fleet of CMV's at our Morgantown, WV Terminal. Our growing fleet of trucks has created the need to expand our maintenance team. Our Morgantown location has a new Maintenance Shop under construction with 2 large service bays and a wash bay with radiant heated floors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

- Perform vehicle greasing following assigned schedules

- Perform vehicle fluid check following assigned schedules

- Perform safety checks on vehicles

- Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services

- Perform other maintenance related work as required

- Drive vehicles in / out of shop for service and test drive after maintenance

- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Standards

- Complete required paperwork

Qualifications

- Will need to have West Virginia state inspection license or obtain once hired

- CDL preferred, but not required

- Education: High School Diploma or GED

- Valid driver's license/class A or B preferred

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with reasonable accommodations

- Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check, which will include previous employment, criminal history and motor vehicle record review

- Ability to drive large vehicles

- Basic mechanical skills
