Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and dependable.

Essential Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension components

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and time worked

- Assist other mechanics or drivers as needed

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience working on heavy-duty trucks or completion of a certified trade school program

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems

- Must be comfortable working in a dirty, hands-on environment

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

- Ability to pass a drug test and physical. Must be able to reliably commute to work

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally more

- Ability to stand, bend, crawl, and work in tight spaces for extended periods

- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Schedule

- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM to 6:00PM (depends on workload)

- Occasional Saturday availability may be required

- Consistent full-time hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 55 – 60 per week
