Diesel Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including hydraulic systems, brakes, suspensions, and transmissions

- Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment

- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and plan repairs

- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine malfunctions

- Weld and fabricate parts as needed

- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed

Requirements

- Prior experience working as a Diesel Mechanic

- Proficiency in forklift operation

- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in brake repair, hydraulics, and suspension systems

- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus

- Ability to weld and fabricate parts when necessary

- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.81 - $31.08 per hour
