Jupiter seeks to hire a highly motivated and experienced DevOp Software Engineer, reporting directly to our Principal Solutions Architect. This role will be based out of our Houston, Texas office and will be subject to our return-to-office policy which currently requires employees to come in 3+ days per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Databricks Asset Bundle).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems for performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations to improve workflows and system automation.
- Enhance observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Contribute to cloud-native architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Advocate for best practices in system security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering is required.
- Experience: 3+ years in software development with expertise in DevOp technologies.- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
- Knowledge in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Some experience in microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Some background in networking and security fundamentals.
