Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and motivated Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design and customer service, with the ability to engage clients and translate their needs into innovative design solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a Design Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction through personalized design services.

Responsibilities

•

Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.

•

Utilize Sketchup and other design software to create detailed design plans and presentations.

•

Manage client accounts effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and addressing any concerns.

•

Negotiate project terms and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

•

Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.

•

Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.

•

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, ensuring a positive client experience.

•

Engage in outside sales activities to promote design services and expand the client base.

•

Maintain organized documentation of all client interactions and project details.

Experience

•

Proven experience in a design-related field is preferred.

•

Proficiency in Sketchup or similar design software is highly desirable.

•

Strong account management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.

•

Experience in sales, particularly outside sales, is an advantage.

•

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.

•

Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.

•

Familiarity with cash handling processes and operating cash registers is beneficial.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
