Job Summary
We are seeking a few positions including Demolition Project Manager, skilled and experienced Demolition Supervisor to oversee and manage demolition projects from start to finish as well as Heavy Equipment Operators with industrial demolition experience.
The ideal candidated will have a strong background in construction management specifically with industrial demolition, excellent leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations and practices. This role requires effective communication and coordination with various teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
Duties
•Supervise demolition operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
•Develop project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, utilizing construction management software.
•Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of demolition tasks.
•Review blueprints and project specifications to determine the scope of work.
•Implement project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow and efficiency.
•Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during the demolition process.
•Train and mentor team members on best practices in demolition techniques and safety protocols.
•Utilize software tools such as Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid for project management and documentation.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or demolition industry -OR- Minimum 7 years on Industrial Demolition projects using high reach excavators and similar machines.
•Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
•Proficiency in construction management software, including Bluebeam and HeavyBid (a plus).
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
•Strong project management skills with experience in project scheduling.
•Familiarity with safety regulations related to demolition work.
•Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
