Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, possess driving experience with box/stake trucks, and be capable of heavy lifting and warehouse tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial driving, courier services, or route driving to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate box/stake trucks and delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

- Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of products.

- Deliver products to customers efficiently across designated routes while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

- Manage warehouse inventory, organize stock, and assist with loading and unloading shipments.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.

- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning before each delivery.

- Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and timeliness.

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues that may arise.

Skills

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a commercial setting.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients.

- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is preferred.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.

- Familiarity with warehouse operations including load & unload procedures.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not required.

- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is desirable.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.31 - $28.07 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 50 per week
