Data Analyst Level 1 reports to Supervisor. Data Analyst Level 1 creates and

maintains reports and dashboards that provide insights for informed decision-making as well as completes data analysis using data collection, data manipulation, and data modeling. Collaborate across and vertically with the company to understand business needs and technical requirements to ensure the creation of actionable insights.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI to convey complex data in a user-friendly manner. Leverage Alteryx to perform data cleansing, transformation, integration, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across various sources. Regularly update and maintain existing PowerBI dashboards; incorporating new data sources and ensuring continuous relevance.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and IT professionals; fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy and reliability of reports and dashboards. Identify opportunities to enhance the performance and efficiency of PowerBI reports and Alteryx workflows, implementing optimizations as needed. Adhere to established data governance standards and policies to maintain data integrity and security. Provide training sessions and ongoing support to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize and interpret reports and dashboards. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Data Analyst Certificate and Certification preferred

Bachelor's Degree in an analytics related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, and etc.)

Must have 0 - 2 years of professional level experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related role.

Must have a valid driver's License from state of residence. Must have an occupationally significant combination of: job knowledge; excellent verbal/written communication skills; proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities; leadership, customer relations, and resource management skills; a high level of integrity; abilities in working as a team and promoting safety in the work environment. Physical Demands: Works in office majority of the time. Subject to occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, feeling, gripping, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Requires carrying/lifting exerting up to 20 pounds or more of force on a regular basis.
