Position: Data Analyst
What You'll Do (Generalized, please see full job description):
•Develop and manage databases, collecting raw data from various internal and external sources.
•Clean and transform gathered data into a reliable format for analysis.
•Build models using statistical methods to predict outcomes or uncover trends.
•Create reports and dashboards to visualize meaningful trends for stakeholders using tools like Power BI and Amazon Quicksight.
•Extract actionable insights from data and present findings in a business context.
•Intuitively identify how data can be used to solve problems without being explicitly asked.
•Validate collected data through statistical testing and independent judgment.
•Apply validation and testing models to data.
•Develop mathematical models and/or create simulation models of problems.
•Prepare and distribute reports that identify, explain, and evaluate problems and available solutions.
•Perform other duties as assigned in support of cooperative goals and as a meaningful teammate.
What We're Looking For:
•Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
•Minimum 2-year experience in data analysis or related field preferred.
•Proficiency in data manipulation tools and programming languages.
•Familiarity with database technologies.
•Understanding of machine learning models and their future benefits.
•Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to create and conduct simulation models, data reduction, and trend analysis.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
•Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable insights for nontechnical stakeholders.
•Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
•Must live within a 45-minute drive of our headquarters in Grawn, MI.
•Must be willing to submit to a nationwide criminal background check.
