Summary

Spire is seeking a Data, Analyst II to create data analyses and analytical applications to inform process, quality, and performance improvement in operations, customer service, and other cross-functional initiatives. This role will provide actionable insights to enhance data and analytics support across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and can manage multiple projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business challenges, and work with the Data Engineering team to set up the data sources or databases.

Analyze large datasets to discover trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform business strategies and improve services.
Develop and deploy applications, including entities, forms, and workflows, using Microsoft Power Apps canvas and model-driven applications to improve business processes.
Develop and implement Power Automate workflows to support business processes, integrate systems, and stream data flows.
Design and build interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of Power Platform solutions by adhering to best practices and conducting thorough testing.
Provide training and support to team members on data analytics tools and techniques, fostering a culture of data literacy across the organization.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting and insights to management.
All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None, however, considered a leader for all employees in data gathering, analysis and technology project activities.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science or business-related discipline is required.

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

5+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization, including data integration, query building, and reporting with Tableau or Power BI.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
Experience with SQL, Python/R, or similar programming languages is preferred.
Microsoft Power Platform certifications are preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment and managing multiple projects.
Physical demands, environment and schedule

Hybrid work environment.

Occasionally requires work during nonstandard business hours.
Travel may be required at times
